Lawn Care Technician
(Pesticide License Preferred)
Palatine is a growing locally owned company looking for a lawn technician to join our team!
Starting 2024 Season. We are looking for candidates with the following background and skills:
- Fertilizer and weed applications
- Keeps accurate treatment records
- Looks for and pursues sales opportunities
- Helps customers understand services provided
- Responds promptly to requests from office
- Securely and safely maintains service vehicle, equipment, and materials
- Actively participates in learning opportunities
- Able to work independently on various projects assigned
- Able to lift 50lbs bags
*** Candidates with knowledge and a Connecticut Operators License will be highly considered and compensated accordingly ***‘
This Job Is:
- A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply
- Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma
Details:
- Work Remotely: No. In-Person Required.
- Job Type: Full-time
- Salary: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
- Benefits: Retirement plan, Paid time off
Schedule:
- 8-10 hour shifts
- Day shift, Monday to Friday
- Full-time. Overtime possible.
Experience:
- Commercial Fertilizer Application: 1 year (Required)
- Driving with Trailer: 1 year (Preferred)
- Z Turn equipment: 1 year (Required)
